Helping Your Student Transition From High School to Adult Life
Who I Am
Moving into adulthood is much easier when we understand who we are first. But this can be hard to determine without some guidance.
In Who I Am, your student will walk through a step-by-step process that will help them identify their purpose and strengths, build a personal brand to guide them through decision making, establish a vision for their future, set goals to achieve that vision, and then create action steps to make their goals a reality.

Career Planning
Sometimes students know their own interests but aren't sure how to turn them into a viable career.
Using a career profiler, your student will not only learn what careers match up with their personality and interests, they will also explore how to pursue training and education, build a resume, and participate in a job interview.
College Planning
The college search and application process can be daunting!
With the lessons found in this module, though, your student will learn how to narrow down the college choices, work through the application process, and find financial aid. The module wraps up with guidance on planning out a course schedule and exploring the ins and outs of campus life.

Financial Responsibility
Financial irresponsibility in the early adult years can wreak havoc for decades.
But even with a basic understanding of financial concepts, your student can avoid these early mistakes. In this module, your student will explore bank accounts, consider the ins and outs of building credit, process the basics of filing taxes, and learn how to create a budget. They will also consider the pros and cons of student loans.
Everyday Living
It can be easy for parents to forget that some life skills are not picked up naturally. They must be taught.
In this module, your student will walk through some of the skills that might be easily missed, such as establishing a healthy lifestyle through good eating, sleeping, and fitness habits or practicing strong communication skills. They will also consider home and auto maintenance as well as skills necessary for travel.
